Factory Return Charges

We require that when a measurement section is to be returned to the factory for service or repair, that it be drained and cleaned of any and all dangerous or hazardous materials prior to its return shipment. Please see the applicable heading 10, "Instrument Repair and Service", in our Installation and Instruction Manual.

If this cleaning is not done by the customer (or the representative handling the return shipment), and consequently we need to do it at the factory, Phase Dynamics will charge the customer a mandatory cleaning fee of $500 per unit!

We prefer that a measurement section be returned in its original shipping carton. If this carton is not available anymore, the customer needs to pack the measurement section in a strong and safe wooden crate (where the unit is bolted or strapped to the bottom of the crate).

If the customer’s crating is not strong enough to survive the shipment, and consequently cannot be re-used by us to ship the measurement section back to the customer, Phase Dynamics will charge the customer a mandatory crating fee of $100 per unit!
