Water Cut Analyzer Validation Loop

This compact validation system was designed, with simplicity in mind, to verify the calibration of Phase Dynamics measurement sections.

How the system operates:

• A microprocessor board, with its associated EPROM from the unit to be tested, is placed into the System Electronics.

• The measurement section is attached to the loop using quick disconnect flange adapters.

• The measurement section is then connected to the System Electronics.

• A Windows-based program interfaces to the System Electronics through a serial port.  The software provides instructions to the operator for each step of the process and generates a report from the test.

• The operator is instructed to pour fluids, of various ratios of known water cut, into the system.

What the system includes:

• Windows-based Validation Loop software

• RS232 serial cable to connect to PC

• fittings and (2) quick-disconnect flange adapters to connect the measurement section to the loop

• variable speed centrifugal pump

• vacuum pump to remove the air from the system after loading

• compressor to pressurize the loop to 60 psi

• drip pan

• valves

• piston assembly

• system electronics

• (measurement section is not included)
